Trailer: Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s "Intruders" Teaser

If you don’t recognize the name Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, you soon will. He directed the surprisingly fantastic horror sequel, 28 Weeks Later, and soon he is set to helm the remake of The Crow. He was also attached to direct the film adaptation of the video game Bioshock, which would have been amazing, no doubt, but alas, that fell through. Fresnadillo’s next film is called Intruders, starring Clive Owen and Daniel Brühl. According to IMDB, the film is: “A horror/thriller centered on the origin of the monsters that are born in childhood and are passed  on by the family.” Spooky!

The teaser below, courtesy of Empire, does not show much but looks as though it could be another quality spookfest like James Wan’s Insidious. Rumor has it that Brühl has been cast as a priest, so perhaps we can look forward to some demons in this one? I, for one, will watch any horror movie helmed by a Spaniard, as they have more than proven themselves, especially Fresnadillo.
