Trailer: 'Fright Night' remake

Wow, two remake trailers in one day! Here we have the first trailer for the Fright Night remake directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl). Fans of the 1985 horror-comedy are going to be quick to hate on this one, no doubt. While that is understandable, the trailer does not look all bad, take a look:

Originally Colin Ferrell was my biggest worry about this, but he actually fits the role (originally played by Chris Sarandon) pretty naturally. For those unfamiliar with either film, here is a run down (via IMDB):

Teenager Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) guesses that his new neighbor Jerry Dandrige (Farrell) is a vampire responsible for a string of recent deaths. When no one he knows believes him, he enlists Peter Vincent (David Tennant), the opportunistic host of his favorite TV show, to help him take down Jerry and his guardian.

What do you think?
