Earning high marks at both Sundance and Cannes, the slow-burning drama, Take Shelter now has a full trailer. The film stars Michael Shannon as Curtis, a small-town man plagued by visions of an impending massive storm. Nobody else is able to see these images, and Curtis begins to wonder if he is going crazy - or if these visions are signs of a coming apocalypse. He responds by obsessively building a bomb-shelter in his backyard, much to the dismay of his concerned family and friends. Take a look:
You may recognize Curtis' mining buddy as the awesome Shea Whigham, who, along with Shannon, is one of the best things about HBO's Boardwalk Empire. I cannot wait to see these two fine actors working together on the big screen.
