Trailer: 'Aliens: Colonial Marines'


SEGA and Twentieth Century Fox are teaming up to bring us "Aliens: Colonial Marines", a first-person shooter game for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC that will pick up where James Cameron's 1986 movie left off. The game is being developed by Gearbox Software who have worked on such critically-acclaimed games as "Half-Life", "Brothers in Arms", and "Borderlands". They also took over developing the long-anticipated "Duke Nukem Forever" which is finally releasing this month after 14 years in limbo.

"Aliens: Colonial Marines" begins with Marines boarding the abandoned spacecraft from Aliens after the bloody events that transpired there. As you battle Xenomorphs in deep space, the game will supposedly use genuine environments from the film (such as the surface of LV-426) and weapons from the movie franchise. The game is slated for a Spring 2012 release. Here is the latest teaser trailer:
