V/H/S 3 is coming, and look who's involved!

Not everyone is a fan but I quite liked both V/H/S films. I thought the original was consistent fun while the sequel was a little spotty but elevated by some seriously amazing segments. Now, news has arrived that V/H/S Viral, the third film in the series, has its directors! It also has a first still, which is that saucy photo you see above.

Among the filmmakers are Marcel Sarmimento (Deadgirl), whose stylish ABCs of Death segment, Dogfight, was beloved by many; Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes), who also made a killer ABCs of Death short with Apocalypse; Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead); Todd Lincoln (The Apparition); and most exciting of all to me, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution)!

If you follow this site, you've probably seen me beat you all over the head with Benson and Moorhead after I fell hopelessly in love with their feature debut, Resolution. They also happen to have some fantastic short films under the belts, so this V/H/S Viral segment will no doubt steal the whole film!

Last year, they released a short, Wrecked which you can watch in its entirety below. Much like Resolution, its a head-scratcher in the best possible way!

The duo has a YouTube channel where they posted numerous inventive and hilarious shorts/festival bumpers. Follow the link to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/user/MoorheadAndBenson

I interviewed these gents back in January 2013 - we discussed Resolution, filmmaking and what's in store for them next. Aside from the forthcoming Spring, they mention some other ideas-in-the-making you NEED to hear about. Check out that interview plus the bonus footage of us goofing off HERE.

I also recommend you check out Benson's eerie solo short, A.M. (watch it below):

As usual, I have gone off on a tangent about Justin and Aaron but dammit, I'm excited! And you should be, too! As for V/H/S Viral, it will apparently "focus on fame-obsessed teens who unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation."

If you have not seen Resolution yet, it's streaming on Netflix or get the DVD/BD combo pack here:
